PDMP Registration with LogiCoy

NextGen® Office is integrated with LogiCoy to enable our providers to check their state's Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) database, which tracks controlled substance prescriptions. Providers must register with LogiCoy (except those in Illinois). After registration is complete, LogiCoy will send you the username and password that you enter in Administration: PDMP Vendor Credentials Management.

Best Practice Tip

Make sure that the NPI, DEA Number, and License State/Number that you use when registering for PDMP is the same as what you use in Administration: Provider Maintenance.

Register with LogiCoy

1. Register at https://signup.logicoy.com/PDMPSystemEhrSignup/register.
2. Complete the form. For EHR Vendor Name and Version, select NextGen Office.
3. Click Submit Request.

LogiCoy will assess the form and give direction on whether the practice is in a funded state (currently only Illinois) or a non-funded state. Even if you are located in a funded state, your state may require you to register with the state. 

• Funded states: State sponsors the integration and the provider is not responsible (currently only Illinois)
• Non-funded states: The provider must contract directly with LogiCoy. LogiCoy charges clients based on the number of providers. 

Your registration is complete when LogiCoy contact you with your practice's username and password.

Notes

• Check your email's spam/junk folder for an automatic response from LogiCoy.
• The username and password sent by LogiCoy are the web credentials for the entire practice and differs from the username and password used for access to your state's PDMP.

Illinois

All prescribers with a State of Illinois-issued controlled substance license must register with the Illinois Prescription Monitoring Program (ILPMP) for a PMPNow connection regardless of practice type. Prescribers should register early to avoid noncompliance. It is mandatory to search the ILPMP upon prescribing schedule 2 narcotics. There is no subscription fee or cost for the connection in Illinois since it is state funded.

2. Complete the form. For EHR or PMS System Vendor, enter NextGen Office.
3. Click Submit.
