Use the Order Status feature to add information regarding order status. Document patient follow-up attempts, change the due date or appointment information, or follow up with a referring provider.

Note: The icon shows a red or green indicator depending on whether the logged-in prescriber has an unreviewed order with an abnormal or normal result. For more information about colored indicators, refer to Orders Dashboard.
The Orders Dashboard opens.
- Select the order's row and click Status.
The Order Status page opens.
- Enter the appointment details for the order, including the appointment date, appointment time, and due date.
- Select the notification method for the appointment and the order result.
- Select the Contact Method, Date, and Outcome and enter Notes for both Patient Notification Attempts and Follow Up with Referred To Provider.
- Click Save.
The most-recent patient notification attempt appears in the Patient Follow-up column.
