You can export QRDA I or QRDA III files from within QPP Reporting on the My Reports page.

QRDA File Definitions
File | Definition |

QRDA I | Patient- and measure-specific report that contains quality data for one patient for one electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM). |
QRDA III | Aggregate quality report that contains quality data for a set of patients for one or more eCQMs and Promoting Interoperability measures. |
Attestation Information and Tips
- To report eCQMs using the QPP website, download the QRDA file (report card).
- To report eCQMs using the QPP API, upload the QRDA file (QPP report).
- Required file formats:
- QPP website: XML
- QPP API: JSON
- MIPS Quality measure QRDA files are automatically generated in XML and HTML formats within a couple of weeks after the MIPS reporting period ends. Files appear in the My Reports document list.
- To search for the document type, select Search Documents
. - Download or select the report name to review the numerator and denominator values for the eCQMs.
Export QRDA Files for an Individual Provider
Note: If you have just imported a QRDA I file from another source (for example, a different EHR), make sure that the import has completed prior to exporting a QRDA III file. QRDA I files appear in All Documents after the import completes, but it does not guarantee that the import was successful. You must export the QRDA file before 5:00 PM PT on the same day that you imported the QRDA I file.
Confirm That an Import Was Successful and Ready to Export
Required: You must know which measure the patient qualifies for.
Do one of the following:
- Perform steps 1-8 below and select the measure that the patient qualifies for. If the patient appears on the list, the import was successful.
- In the patient’s chart, verify that the measure appears in Health Maintenance.
- In NextGen® Office EHR, on the bottom navigation bar, select Documents.
- Select the My Reports tab.
- Select QPP Reporting.
- Select Export.
- Select a provider.
- Select a reporting period.
- Select a measure from the measure list or All Enrolled Measures.
- To preview the list, select Preview.
Note: Loading a preview for a provider with a large number of patients can take up to 15 minutes.
To filter and export the filtered list, see Export a Filtered List.
- Select EXPORT ALL.
- Select an export option.
- MIPS QRDA 3 Individual includes only MIPS measures.
- QPP QRDA 3 Individual for the QPP API. If you are using the API, see QPP API Integration for the next steps.
The QRDA report will be available for download from My Reports by the next day, however, you can check to see if the report is available sooner. See Download QRDA Files.
Export QRDA Files for All Providers
Note: For group reporting, ensure providers are all enrolled in the same program for the same enrollment period in Administration: EHR Reporting and Quality Measures. The MIPS Dashboard only reflects individual scores, however, you can periodically run the QDRA file to review group scores.
- In NextGen Office EHR, on the bottom navigation bar, select Documents.
- Select the My Reports tab.
- Select QPP Reporting.
- Select Export.
- Select All Providers.
A confirmation message appears stating that reviewing or exporting patients for all providers can take up to 15 minutes.
- Select Confirm.
- Select a reporting period.
- Select a measure from the measure list or All Enrolled Measures.
- To preview the list, select Preview.
Note: Loading a preview for a provider with a large number of patients can take up to 15 minutes.

- Click EXPORT ALL.
- Select an export option.
- MIPS QRDA 3 Individual and MIPS QRDA 3 Group include only MIPS measures.
- QPP QRDA 3 Individual or QPP QRDA 3 Group are for the QPP API. If you are using the API, see QPP API Integration for the next steps.
If you select one of the group options, the Group Report Details window opens. Select the Billing Provider. Optionally, for CPC+, enter the APM Entity ID. Click Export.
The QRDA report will be available for download from My Reports by the next day, however, you can check to see if the report is available sooner. See Download QRDA Files.
QPP API Integration
NextGen Office EHR is integrated with the QPP API for MIPS eCQM attestation.
- In NextGen Office EHR, on the bottom navigation bar, select Documents.
- Select the My Reports tab.
The QPP report is a JSON file.
- Select Upload Report to CMS
.
The CMS login page opens in a new browser tab.
- Log in with your QPP credentials.
A login success message appears.
- Return to My Reports to submit the file. Select Upload Report to CMS
. - Select Confirm.
A file submission success message appears.
Switch Users
If you need to submit a file for a different user, click Switch Users, which ends the existing user session. The CMS login page opens in a new browser tab so you can log in with the new user.
Download QRDA Files
In the My Reports document list, select the file's row and select Download.
Export a Filtered List
- Select your filter options.
- Click Export Filtered.
- Select an export option.
