If you are unable to be approved during the registration process, Exostar may give you the option to receive an activation code via US mail. This activation code will allow you to complete the Exostar registration process.

Important Notes about Receiving the Activation Code by Mail
- The activation code will be mailed to the address that you use to identity proof. You cannot use an alternate address or business address. YOU MUST USE YOUR HOME MAILING ADDRESS.
- The activation code will arrive within five business days but may arrive sooner (two-three business days).
- Your activation code expires in 30 days. If you do not use the activation code in time, you must start from the beginning of the registration process.
- If you entered an incorrect home address, select This is not my address and you will be prompted to schedule a webcam appointment with Exostar. You are not allowed to change the mailing address that the activation code is mailed to.
- If you lose your activation code after it is received, you will be required to delete your account and start the identity proofing process from the beginning. From the NewCrop Exostar Registration page, select Enter Activation Code and select Lost Activation Code.
- You will not be able to complete the EPCS registration process until you have received and entered an activation code.
Identity Proofing Procedure through Snailmail
During the registration process, if Exostar cannot verify your identity and is unable to generate identity proofing questions, you will have an option to receive an activation code via US mail.
- Complete Confirm Profile step.
- In the Verify Identity step and select Mail Activation Code to get an activation code through the email.
- You will receive an email containing activation code to enter to continue Exostar registration.
After you receive your activation code in the mail, return to the NewCrop EPCS Registration page to continue Exostar registration.
- Select Enter Activation Code.
- Enter the activation code and select Submit.

Troubleshooting
Lost or Do Not Receive Activation Code
- From the NewCrop Exostar Registration page, select Lost Activation Code.
- You must delete your account and start the identity proofing process from the beginning. Select OK to return to the NewCrop screens.
Expired Activation Code
The activation code expires after 30 days. If you do not enter the activation code in time, you will be required to start EPCS setup from the beginning. Select the NewCrop Exostar Registration Page to begin again.
