You can edit the patient's default pharmacy in the chart or the encounter in EHR and in the chart in Practice Management.
Navigate to Prescribe, Medication History, or Medication List
- In the encounter, click P on the SOAP menu and select Prescribe.
- In the encounter, click S on the SOAP menu and select Medication History.
- In the chart, click the Medication List tab.
Navigate to Associations in PM
- In the chart, click View/Edit Details.
- Click 4. Associations.
Set the Default Pharmacy in EHR
- Click Edit.
- Search for the desired pharmacy.
Note: Type defaults to Retail. If you are unsure of the pharmacy specialty type, select All Specialties. City, state, and zip code are pulled from the chart.
- Select the Default check box.
- Click Save.
Set the Default Pharmacy in PM
- Click Edit.
- Continue with step 2 in the EHR workflow above.
Change the Default Pharmacy
- In the Select a Pharmacy window, search for the desired pharmacy (if necessary).
- Select the Default check box for the new default pharmacy.
- Click Save.
Delete a Pharmacy
- Click
for the pharmacy you want to remove. - Click OK to confirm the deletion.
- Click Save.
