Issue
NextGen Healthcare has identified an issue with NextGen® Office where patients 18 years or older are unable to view or add immunizations from the Immunizations table in NextGen® Office Patient Portal.
Steps to Recreate the Issue
- Create or open a chart for a patient who is 18 years or older, and then create an encounter.
- From the SOAP menu, select S > Patient Hx > Immunization Hx or P > Immunizations.
- Select New Immunization.
- Select a vaccine from COVID-19, Combination Vaccines, or RSV.
- Complete the required fields, and then select Save.
- Log on to NextGen® Office Patient Portal as the patient from step 1, and then select Review Medical Record.
- Select Immunizations.
The page does not load the table with existing immunizations.
Actions Required
Until this issue is fixed, users can view vaccine information in NextGen Office Patient Portal by selecting Review Medical Record > Patient Summary > Immunizations. To add a vaccine, patients can send a message to the practice.
