Issue
In NextGen® Office EHR, users with the Admin Clerk prescribing role (Pharmacy Role in Administration: User Maintenance) can deny renewal requests when they should only have read-only access to the Pharmacy Alerts pages, and, therefore, should not be able to take action on pharmacy requests.
Steps to Reproduce
- User with Admin Clerk prescribing role logs in to NextGen Office.
- Open the Pharmacy Messages page.
- Select the prescriber.
- Select the row and then click Deny.
- Select a Denial Reason.
- Click Deny.
Action Required
Reinforce office policies and procedures regarding who is authorized to deny renewal requests.
