Updating the Patient Chart in NextGen Office EHR Removes the Electronic Notifications Setting in Practice Management

Issue
When users update the patient chart in NextGen® Office EHR, the electronic notifications setting is removed from the patient chart in Practice Management, which causes message notification emails and appointment reminders to not be sent.
Steps to Reproduce
Prerequisite: The patient chart in PM has an electronic notification setting selected.
- Open the patient chart in EHR.
- Click Edit and update the chart.
- Click Save.
- Open the patient chart in PM.
- Click View/Edit Details.
The Electronic Notification check boxes are cleared.
Action Required
Reselect the electronic notification setting in the patient chart in PM.

This issue was fixed on December 1, 2022.
