Issue
In NextGen® Office EHR, clients are unable to add expired procedure codes to encounters even though the code was active during the date of service.
Steps to Reproduce
- In an encounter, select P > Procedure Coding.
- Select the Show Expired Codes check box.
Unable to search for 99334-99337 and 99327.
Action Required
If the procedure code has been used for the patient before, add the code by using the Patient History feature.

This issue was fixed on June 1, 2023.
