Issue
In NextGen® Office EHR, tasks do not appear in the patient chart in the Task and Messages tab when marked as review required from Single File Upload or Document Inbox.
Steps to Reproduce
Single File Upload Workflow
- In NextGen® Office EHR, select Documents on the bottom navigation bar.
- Select Single File Upload.
- Select Browse, and then select a file from your computer.
- Search for and select the patient in the Patient search field.
- Select Yes for Review Required Task, and then select Upload.
- Open the patient chart, and then select the Task and Messages tab.
No task appears.
Document Inbox Workflow
- In NextGen® Office EHR, select Documents on the bottom navigation bar.
- Select Document Inbox.
- Select a document, and then select the pages.
- Search for and select the patient in the Patient search field.
- Enter the document title.
- Select Yes for Review Required Task, and then select Save.
- Open the patient chart, and then select the Task and Messages tab.
No task appears.

No user action is required.

The fix was deployed on the December 14 2023 release
