Issue
In NextGen® Office EHR, when a user replaces the renewal request with a new prescription and updates the number of refills, the refills update in
Medication List, but they do not transmit to the pharmacy as prescribed.
Steps to Reproduce
Replace the Renewal Request with New Prescription
- In Pharmacy Messages, click the patient's name.
- Below the Renewal Request, click Replace.
- E-prescribe the new medication including the number of refills.
The number of refills show in Medication List.
Check the Prescription Transaction History (Rx Hx)
- In the chart, click the Medication List tab.
- In the Medications section, click ACTION and select History.
- Click Rx Hx.
- Click Action and select View Details.
One refill is transmitted to the pharmacy.
Action Required
Transmit a new prescription with the number of refills to the pharmacy.
