Patient's Name in Chief Complaint in Clinical Summary PDF Updates to New Name When Name Is Changed after the Encounter Is Signed

Issue
In NextGen® Office EHR, when you change the patient's name after an encounter has been signed, the updated name appears in the Chief Complaint section of the exported clinical summary PDF. The clinical summary PDF should reflect the patient’s name as it was when the encounter was signed.
Steps to Reproduce
Create and Sign an Encounter
- In the chart, click the Encounters tab.
- Click New Encounter.
- Click Chief Complaint.
- Select the rendering provider.
- Complete the chief complaint details and click Save.
- Click the Encounter #.
The Encounter Summary Preview page opens.
- Click Sign.
- Click Sign Encounter.
- Open the encounter.
- Click Clinical Summary.
- Click Export PDF.
The patient's name in the Chief Complaint section reflects the same name as is shown in the Encounter Summary Preview.
Change the Patient's Name
- Open the patient's chart.
- Click Edit.
- Change the patient's name and click Save.
Export the Clinical Summary PDF after the Name Change
- In the chart, click the Encounters tab.
- Open the signed encounter.
- Click Clinical Summary.
- Click Export PDF.
The patient's name in the Chief Complaint section reflects the updated name and not the name when the encounter was signed.

No user action is required.
