Medication History Does Not Appear in Encounter Summary Preview When Patient Checks in from Patient Portal

Issue
In NextGen® Office EHR, the Medication History does not appear in the Encounter Summary Preview when the patient checks in to the appointment from the Patient Portal. This issue occurs when the patient has prior medications listed under Medication History in their chart.
Steps to Reproduce
Patient Step
Check in to an appointment from the Patient Portal.
Provider Steps
- The provider opens the encounter in EHR.
The Medication History does not appear in the Encounter Summary Preview.
- Click S on the SOAP menu and select Medication History.
- Select the Medications Reviewed & Reconciled check box.
- Click the Encounter # at the top of the page.
The Medication History still does not appear in the Encounter Summary Preview.
Action Required
- From the Medication History page in the encounter, click the medication's Sig.
- Click Save.
- Add a new medication to the Medication History.
- Click the Encounter # at the top of the page.
The Medication History appears in the Encounter Summary Preview.
