Immunizations Added to the Encounter in Immunizations and Deleted from Immunization History Still Appear in Encounter Summary and Cannot Be Deleted from Immunizations
Issue
In NextGen Office® EHR, immunizations added to the encounter in
Immunizations and then deleted in
Immunization History still appear in the encounter summary in the
Plan section, but no longer appear in
Immunizations and cannot be deleted.

Steps to Reproduce
- In an encounter, click P on the SOAP menu and select Immunizations.
- Click New Immunization and enter a new immunization.
- Click the Encounter # to view the Encounter Summary Preview.
The immunization appears in the Plan section.
- Click S on the SOAP menu, select Patient Hx, and then select Immunization Hx.
- Delete the immunization you created in step 2.
- View the Encounter Summary Preview.
The immunization still appears in the Plan section.
- Click P on the SOAP menu and select Immunizations.
The immunization no longer appears and cannot be deleted.
Action Required
If you add an immunization to
P > Immunizations, you must delete it in
P > Immunizations. If you add an immunization to
S > Immunization History, you must delete it in
S > Immunization History.
Status
This issue was fixed on July 23, 2020.
