Diagnosis Coding and Temperature Data Missing from C-CDA File
Release Date: February 7, 2019
Known Issues: KI174871 and KI174996
The Issue
In NextGen® Office EHR, two issues occur when users generate a C-CDA file.
Diagnosis Coding Issue – KI174871
If there are multiple diagnosis codes in the encounter, only one diagnosis code appears in the XML file. This occurs even though all diagnosis codes are included in the narrative/unstructured portion of the C-CDA and in the human-readable HTML version of the C-CDA.
Temperature Issue – KI174996
Temperature data appears in the XML version of the C-CDA file, but it does not appear on the human-readable HTML version.
