Clinical Summary Preview Should Show Patient Age Based on Date of Service

Issue

In NextGen® Office EHR, the clinical summary preview shows the patient's age based on the date the encounter is viewed (current date) when it should be showing the age based on the date of service. The clinical summary PDF accurately shows the patient's age based on the date of service. 

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In a patient's chart, open an encounter from the previous year. 
  2. Click the Encounter #.
  3. Click Clinical Summary.
  4. Click Print Preview.

The clinical summary preview shows the patient's age as of the preview date.

  1. Click Export To PDF.

The clinical summary PDF shows the patient's age as of the date of the service.

No user action is required.

This issue was fixed on May 6, 2021.
