Claims Received in NextGen Office PM Is Not Based on the Billing Location Provided in the DFT Message

Issue
Claims received in NextGen® Office PM updates the billing location based on the default billing location set for the rendering provider in Administration: Provider Maintenance when it should be based on the billing location provided in the DFT message.
Steps to Reproduce
- In Administration: Provider Maintenance, select a default billing location (for example, Location A)
- Process an inbound DFT message with billing Location B.
- Navigate to the user hold claim created from the DFT message.
The billing location appears as Location A instead of Location B.
Action Required
For practices with inbound DFT interfaces (for example, a third-party EHR to NextGen Office PM), if a rendering provider practices out of multiple billing locations, the billing location must be manually updated in Charge Entry before submitting the claim.

This issue was fixed on July 13, 2023.
