Issue
In NextGen® Office EHR, certain allergens do not save in the patient chart or the encounter when selected on the Allergies page. NextGen Healthcare has been made aware of the following allergens: egg, poultry, fish product derivatives, milk products, and NSAIDs.
Steps to Reproduce
- In a patient chart or an encounter, open the Allergies page.
- Click Add Allergy Status.
- Click any one of the following allergens:
- Egg/Poultry
- Fish Product Derivatives
- Milk Products
- NSAIDs
- Click an Adverse Reaction and select an Onset Date.
- Click Back to Allergy List.
The allergen does not save.
Action Required
Use the search box to search for and select an equivalent allergen. The following table provides examples of equivalent allergens; however, this is not a comprehensive list of all available equivalent allergens.
