C-CDA Preview or Download from an Encounter Shows As Blank or Does Not Download

Issue
In NextGen® Office EHR, when some users try to preview a C-CDA or download a C-CDA file from a patient's encounter, the C-CDA shows as blank or the C-CDA file does not download or open.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the patient's encounter.
- Click the Encounter # to open the Encounter Summary Preview.
- Click Clinical Summary.
- Click Preview CCDA.
A blank page opens.
Or
- Open the patient's encounter.
- Click the Encounter # to open the Encounter Summary Preview.
- Click Clinical Summary.
- Click Download CCDA.
The C-CDA file does not download.
Action Required
- In the patient's chart, click the Administrative tab.
- Click C-CDA.
- Select the C-CDA file's row.
- Click
on the left toolbar to open the Tasks and Messages tool. - Click Direct Message to send the C-CDA.
Or
- Create a consult order.
- Direct message or fax the order requisition.
The C-CDA is attached to the order requisition.
Status
This issue was fixed on January 20, 2022.
