Blueprints Overwrite Review of Systems Entered in Patient Portal

Issue
In NextGen® Office EHR, patients' Review of Systems information is overwritten in the encounter when providers import a blueprint even though the blueprint has no Review of Systems. This issue occurs when a patient checks in for an appointment using the Patient Portal and completes a Review of Systems.
Steps to Reproduce
- In Patient Portal, a patient enters Review of Systems information while checking in for an appointment.
- In EHR, in the patient's encounter for the checked-in appointment, confirm that the patient's Review of Systems information shows in the Review of Systems section.
- Click Grand Central.
- Import a blueprint with no Review of Systems.
The patient's Review of Systems information does not show in the encounter.
Action Required
If patients have checked in using Patient Portal, do not import a blueprint.
