Adding Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis to Family History May Cause an Incorrect Abbreviation to Appear

Issue
NextGen Healthcare has identified an issue with Family History in NextGen® Office where Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is abbreviated incorrectly.
Steps to Recreate the Issue

Open NextGen® Office, and then select EHR.
- Create or open a patient chart.
- Select the Family Hx tab.
- Under Father, select Add /Edit History.
- Enter Amyotrophic in the search bar, and then select Yes next to AML - Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
AML - Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis appears instead of ALS - Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
Actions Required
Currently, this issue does not have a workaround.
