Chart Preview is a time-saving feature that helps you multitask within a patient's encounter or chart without leaving the page that you are currently on.

Open Chart Preview
In an encounter or a patient chart, click the blue tab above the SOAP menu. The Chart Summary section slides open by default.
Chart Summary
The Chart Summary section shows the following information:
- Patient's name and previous name
- Chart number and account status
- Address and home phone number
- Sexual orientation and gender identity
- DOB/age, race, and ethnicity
- Active allergies, active medications, and active problems
Click Show Details to view:
- Care team
- Emergency contact
- Guarantor
- Provider associations
Allergies
The Allergies section shows the patient's active and discontinued allergies.
Encounters
The Encounters section shows the signed encounters. Click the service date to preview the encounter. The rendering provider, chief complaint, diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and prescribed medications appear for each encounter.
Medication List
The Medication List section shows the patient's active and discontinued medications.
Appointment History
The Appointment History section shows the patient's appointment history.
Orders
The Orders section shows the patient's order history.
Problem List
The Problem List section shows the patient's active problems.
Documents
The Documents section shows the documents attached to the patient chart.
Insurance Profiles
The Insurance Profiles section shows the patient's insurance profiles.
Chart Notes
The Chart Notes section shows the chart notes.
